Happy Lunar New Year!!

This year is a year of horse! Hopefully everyone will have a galloping good year and good health! Keep galloping!

I made a pair of horse for my good friend and her hubby, Christina and Edmund who was borned in the year of horse!  Check out the funny looking horses.

It started with the horse for Christina.  Looking so cute and blur. That's my 1st horse sculpture and I gave the 1st to her...! hahaha... but unfortunately.. the 1st sculpture normally is not the best looking one.  It's the thought that counts ya?  :P

Added another horse for Edmund.  A couple horse. hehe..

Then, another friend Susan saw the horses and ordered 6 for herself and friends/family. I'm flattered.  and I really thank her for supporting Woofy Creations all these while.  Here are the 6 horses I created for her.  They were made into keychains, therefore the sizes are actually much smaller than the ones for Christina and Edmund.

Birthday and products I done..

Just celebrated my 37th birthday!  Happy Birthday to me!  Hopefully, my life will be as interesting as it could be, everyone I love are happy and heathy in years to come.  I created this blog quite many years back, I never thought it will be revived again.  Life is quite interesting - nothing is certain.  So don't be too sure of things, ya?  

I baked this non-edible cake for myself this year!  I love rainbow and this cake looks pretty delicious ya?  An ex-colleague thought i baked a real one for myself.  I would think that is the best compliments.  Isn't so?  Very encouraging!

Yesterday, Woofy Creations has its first ever workshop!  Everyone has fun and everyone is poisoned!  They are discussing what to buy already and let see when will be our next workshop. :)  It's not easy now to have another workshop that frequent as I have my family to accompany too.  Didn't want Louis to be distant away from me again. :)  But I'm sure we will squeeze out sometime to have fun again!

 Personally, I so love this creation!  Are you able to recognise what character it is?  I love the little patch that I have created and I also love the furry look.

Below 2 was a requested made for a quite little boy, Lucas.  His mummy, Joyann is my ex-colleague whom I don't know personally but we became facebook friends after I approached her 1yr ago.  Very grateful and happy that she entrusted this job to me and I really hope she and her little boy and hubby will Love it!

Finally.. oven baked clay..

Finally .. I decided to go for oven baked clay to satisfy my desire to create smaller and better detailed items.  I went back to Popular @ Bras Basah and picked up some packs of Fimo clay.  I have been reading up reviews of the clay and decided on Fimo.  I read that Sculpey clay can be too soft for warm hands.  Of course, I bought an oven too! 

Happily I went home to try out.  OMG.. Fimo clay is soooo hard!  Especially after playing with Jumping Clay for a while.  Fimo clay is really so hard to "knead".  Later I realized the correct saying is the clay is hard to condition.   My fingers were sore from all the kneading and I still unable to create anything.  You can imagine my disappointment.  What makes me think that polymer clay is easy to play with?  Well... it does shows during my search in the youtube!   

Long story short... in the next 2 days, I went back to Bras Basah and bought some Sculpey Clay and a Clay machine.  Sculpey clay is much easier to condition.  However, it's tooooo easy.. and it soften the moment i tried to  sculpt something.  ZZZzzzz...  : | .... Fimo is too hard and Sculpey is too soft.  So what's the best solution?  Well... I mixed them... and finally I am able to start create something.. *phew*..

This is my1st creation using polymer clay - tiny angry bird!

Recently, I decided to made them became a keychain charms.  Aren't they cute? :)

I saw this in the internet and decided to make a pair of Mickey/Minnie Donuts.  The response from friends are overwhelming!  They started giving me ideas to make other characters!

Mickey and Minnie had found themselves an owner!  Christina bought them and I made them into a pair of couple keychains!

This is the 2nd sets of Donuts I created!  Any idea who they are?  Thank you Eileen Yeo for ordering them!

Now... what else have i got in my "To-do" list?  :)

Now, my latest obsession is clay sculpturing.  I guess, it might last for a while more.

Cards and other paper crafts could be kept in a cold storage until I decided to use them again.  Ops.
